How much
of a pain in the ass is it to keep tabs on everything on your cell phone while
you are busy doing some work on the PC? Managing two screens together could be
more difficult than you think. Happens with me all the time, you know, I’m in
the office, trying to concentrate on work while I keep getting messages on the
phone which, by the way, could not be ignored. Being a Kik addict is another
reason why I NEED to have a look at my phone. All my Kik fiends are sitting
there to Kik me all things mundane and
useful, how can that be ignored? What if I told you that all these issues could
be rectified by a single solution? The key is to install Kik Messenger on the
PC itself. How, you ask? Well, here’s a simple tutorial to help you through it.
1. First
off, you would have to download the Blue Stacks App Player. There are other
options available online too, but Blue Stacks has more credibility. You could
download it from www.bluestacks.com.
2. When
you reach the link above, you would see three boxes on the page. Among them,
you would have to click on the green one that reads “Download App player XP,
Vista, Win 7/8″ and you’d get the download started.
3. Now,
you have to install the App Player on your PC by clicking on ‘Run’. When this
is done, a new icon would automatically create on your desktop.
4. Now
open the Blue Stacks app player and you’d see all the Android apps there. If
not, search for the one you need. For example, if you need to get Kik
Messenger, type on the search box the name and you’ll be able to reach the
installation page for the app.
5. All
you need to do now is click on install and you’d get it!
6. There
would be an ‘Apps’ icon on your desktop, open it to directly access all your
installed apps.
Isn’t it
wonderful? Now you can access all your favorite apps from the PC itself. The
cool thing about Blue Stacks is that it is exactly like your cell phone. It
gives you the same look and feel. The Kik Messenger is easier to install than
most of the other messaging apps like Whatsapp or Hike because in those cases,
you need to verify the account on the PC and then reverify it on the cell phone
when you want to run it there. So, the
whole process becomes terribly hard. So it would be easier for me to keep tabs
on who has Kik me on Kik Messenger than
to receive a snap on SnapChat. Apart from that, Kik Messenger is one place
where you could do so much more than just chat; you could play games
exclusively made for ti and send a large amount of stickers. That is Whatsapp
and Hike and Snap Chat all at one place for you! The one thing you need to know
here is that this tutorial is exclusively for Android phone users. It has
nothing to do with iOS or Windows, for those devices, you need some other app
store working. But kik Messenger, per se, is available on such a wide variety
of platforms that you can’t keep a tab on everything at once. Though there are
places from where you could download the Kik Messenger directly on the PC as a
running file, I do not recommend them because for all you know, they may prove
to be malware and your PC may end up at the doctor’s place. So, it is always
